Jack was actually dead. One day he forgot the combo to his safe, got angry, kicked the safe & died from gangrene! Seriously! Jack is not alive he is dead…and you will be too one day. If you keep drinking Jacks it will likely be sooner than you expect!
Maybe you’re like me & don’t care that memory loss, anger & death will result – or maybe you just haven’t thought about it. But the fact remains we will all die…
What then? According to the Bible, you will instantly face God to be judged for every single sin – every thought, word and deed. How do you think you will do on that day? Are you a *good* person? Let’s find out…
Have you ever told a lie? If yes, that makes you a liar.
Have you ever stolen anything, anything at all? That makes you a thief.
Looked at someone with lust? That is called adultery. Yup porn included.
That is only 3 of the 10 commandments – how did you do?
If you are like me, you broke them all. That means you will be condemned to hell on Judgment Day – forever.
The Just Judge of the world will not allow murderers, rapists or any sinners to go free. No amount of trying to be better or following worthless religion will help: you have sin, an un-payable debt that must be paid. In death.
But God doesn’t want you to die – He sent His Son Jesus to die for sinners like you & me. Jesus was perfect but died a criminals death on a cross to pay your and my fine. That one act means that anyone who trusts in Jesus, can have their punishment quashed. The fine required by the law (death), has been paid by Jesus!
In order to be included in this amazing free gift – you need to do 2 things: repent and trust Jesus.
Repent means turn away from sin, and trust Jesus. Trust in Him like you would a parachute.
He will change you, guide you and help you. For me, I am no longer a slave to drink or drugs! Though I tried for years to get free & clean but I never could. Drinking & drugs were affecting my relationships, my work, my place in society and with the police – but I was blind to it all. I thought I was having a great time, thought I was ‘handling it’ fine and not an addict. But nothing could be further from the truth.
The more I drank, the more I needed to have a ‘good’ time. Eventually I got so depressed, in so much pain and trouble with relationships, family & the police I went on a trip to kill myself. I would rather be dead.
But on this trip I talked to a ‘god’ I didn’t believe existed and read a book I hated (the Bible). Everything changed. I was amazed and discovered what true love, fulfilment and life were all about!
There really is a God out there that cares – really cares…for you. He is nothing like you think He is and definitely nothing like the people you have likely met who claim to be His & did the wrong to you. I know – I spent my youngest years without a father in a cult – I hated ‘god’ / religion and never believed ‘he’ existed…
But I found out He was nothing like I thought. He will judge but really doesn’t want to.
You can ignore it, keep struggling in your addictions and pay for your sin in hell if you like – but why not just see if I’m telling the truth. What do you have to loose?
