Far from a cold-hearted, mean, proud womaniser, I saw the heart of a father. And that of a trusting daughter in the midst of her grief.
Make no mistake, this was an *incredibly* dangerous place for Donald Trump. Not ‘just’ as in being a target for deranged leftists with the guns they disagree with, but also for the vast majority of media & left leaning people…
But he didn’t care – he put a grieving woman’s need over his own career & public perception.
With all his faults & no matter your political bias, I doubt you could imagine the likes of Biden, Obama, Bush, Albanese, Brandt(!!) in the same scenario being able to offer even close to the depth of emotional support to Erika in such a tense, unrehearsed moment.
May we all be willing to display the heart of God to others no matter our situation or failings…
