YES. THERE. IS!\u00a0<\/p>\n
If you just go to church reluctantly, read your Bible occasionally and have Jesus \u2018on the side\u2019 of your life – you are missing out – BIG TIME!\u00a0<\/p>\n
It\u2019s like:
– burning most potent buds as incense outdoors
– baiting up the perfect rig and casting into a shallow rock pool\u00a0
– building a sick V8 but using a straw for the intake
– buying the best meal, but having a gag on when trying to eat
– planting a range of rare & exotic seeds in beach sand\u00a0
– lighting a fire under a waterfall<\/p>\n
You may experience some minimal effect, but *nothing* like it could be\u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n
Once Jesus opens your eyes, He calls you away from living for yourself, away from sin and beckons you to \u201cfollow Him\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In short, this means living for Him, worshipping Him, serving Him and serving others. It looks different for all of us, but He uses us all to build a tiny part of His Kingdom. We become a small thread in His tapestry of grace that slowly reveals a spectacular plan.<\/p>\n
But non of it will happen if you only \u2018dabble\u2019, if you only have a neat little portion of your life you hand over to Him. I want to encourage you, dive in: head first!\u00a0<\/p>\n
Read the Bible & do what it says.\u00a0
Talk to Jesus regularly, sing to Him, do what he wants you to.\u00a0
Find people who will disciple you, challenge you, teach you, encourage you and show you what it looks like to live for Jesus.\u00a0
Find a Church that preaches from the Bible section by section, where serving is normal and where Jesus is talked about *all the time*!
Talk about Jesus to others.<\/p>\n
Seriously, your life will begin to change in ways you thought impossible – for the better.
You will have His peace & joy despite difficulties
You will have hope for the future
Your relationships will benefit\u00a0
Your body & health will improve\u00a0
Even your desires & priorities will change<\/p>\n

If your gift is serving others, serve them well.
If you are a teacher, teach well.
If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging.
If it is giving, give generously.
If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously.
And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.<\/em>
Don\u2019t just pretend to love others. Really love them.
Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.<\/em><\/p>\n
For we are God\u2019s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.<\/em><\/p>\n
