Throughout the year of twenty twenty three,
It has hurt terribly, like being hit by a tree.\u00a0
Areas of sin, physical pain and at times lonely,
Finding out the \u2018care\u2019 of others is just baloney.\u00a0
As bad as it’s been, I know it is not just me\u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n
Daily fighting to stay afloat but only just surviving
Mentally, physically, emotionally it seems like we\u2019re diving.\u00a0
Nothing seems to help despite all the constant striving\u00a0
Hoping & Praying for more, but a long way from thriving.\u00a0
Things shouldn\u2019t look like this – in need of total reviving.<\/p>\n
This next year may be better or worse – I am not sure,\u00a0
With His Spirit\u2019s help we can be completely pure:\u00a0
Left or right, I pray we will all go through His door.\u00a0
Not just pretending, but transformation to the core.\u00a0
As always the answer is following God\u2019s law.\u00a0<\/p>\n
An impossible task, unless we ask,\u00a0
Even then have to drop our protective mask.\u00a0
Without God\u2019s grace we will come last,\u00a0
Not helped even by the most pious fast.\u00a0
But in Jesus\u2019 gift, we can eternally bask.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Happy New Year to those far and near. \u00a0
Once saved we have *nothing* to fear.\u00a0
It may even taste better than that beer.\u00a0
He is calling, can you hear?\u00a0
Respond to the One who holds you dear,\u00a0<\/p>\n
He will never let you down,\u00a0
Or see you burn or drown.\u00a0
Never again to be alone,\u00a0
A relationship with God of your own,\u00a0
Able to go to His very throne.\u00a0<\/p>\n
